Is the or will there be a way to play these games on an iOS device? an emulator of some sort perhaps? If not is there one in development? I am on the go ALOT and would love to play some of these games on my iPad when I have a little free time.

This has been asked before, I suspect you won't be seeing it any time soon unless you want to support it yourself (I think a SCUMMVM point and click would probably work okay).

I have played with a SCUMMVM before, but that really only works with adventure games and not other styles, so far at least. I am not a programmer so coming up with something is a little difficult.

Firstly, jailbreak your iOS device. Next, install ScummVM. You can now play any GOGs that include ScummVM. There's also a similar app for DOSbox, but I'm not sure what it's called (iDOS? DOSPAD?).

And with DOSBox installed, you can install Windows 95, adding support for several other games as well.

Just forget about nice-and-cozy touch-optimised interfaces.
