Also known as Constructor: Street Wars outside of the US, Mob Rule expands upon the original Constructor, while retaining what made the game unique among the flood of other RTS/tycoon games released at the time.
[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/mob_rule]Mob Rule is a mix between a real-time strategy and a city building tycoon game. The setting is the same as in Constructor - a humorous, cartoonish version of Prohibition-era USA - although it's a lot more mobster-themed than the original. City-building takes a back seat here and the main focus is placed on the more or less illicit activities necessary to maintain a criminal organization. Bribe the Police, city officials and other "businessmen" like yourself. Sabotage your competitors' holdings and protect your own from other "families", each no less greedy, ambitious and ruthless than yourself.
You're intentionally choosing weirdest games or what? ;) :P
Thanks for the new game GOG Team!
Cool! I didn't even know about this one. I loved the original so this one gets the wish list treatment as well for now.
I didn't know about this game as well. Since I enjoyed Constructor, I'll pick this up later.
I think I recall playing the trial version of this off of a PC Zone demo disc from back in the day, cool. :P
Any game with characters named Dick Bogroll and Roy Bellend surely at the very least has to be wishlisted.
Quite unexpected. I know virtually nothing about this game... Though I just can't stand the style of the characters in Constructor and Mob Rule, so I think I'll pass unless it's a real classic. Anyone?
Wow never knew this game existed. Looks kind of interesting might pick it up later.
euhm pass... but great for those who like these games
I also never heard about this game. Looks weird but it's not for me ;)
Uh, it's fine, but i'm a little disappointed about "Month of Activision".
Errmm ..... Pass on this one , well there's always next week :\
Cool!
I've played this one's trial version before Constructor's one, so I very well knew this existed ;-). And I hoped it would appear here!
However, I won't get it immediately, I still have plenty of Constructor before me.
I don`t like it, I would prefer Total Annihilation.
