korniatm: where would I find that autocong file?
avatar
AndrewC: You don't find it, if you have the game on Steam you right click the game in the Steam library, select properties and then set launch options and there you add -autoconfig or if not right click the shortcut to the game, go to properties and add -autoconfig at the end of the target field, after the closing "

You need to remove it after the first run or it'll reset everything again the next time you run it :)
put it in after the " it says the path is not valid :(

I am on windows 7 I dont know if that matters

Doesn't matter; try removing both the " or try it just before the last "

neither works, when I go look in the vampire folder there is no autoconfig file anywhere in the folder or subfolders. I acutally have the steam version and the disk version, I dont know if that helps me at all...

There is no autoconfig file, that command just tells the Source engine to restore all setting to defaults.

If you have the Steam version install that and just copy the save files :)

If you have UAC enabled, the files could be held in VirtualStore.
I will have to wait for the Steam download then.
HODOR!
