OneFiercePuppy: Oooh, ooh, I wanna play!
Canadian stereotype:
1) Polite
2) Patient
3) Terrible taste in food (we're looking at you, poutine)
4) Wears layers
Real life:
1) MacGyver.
2) Captain Malcolm Reynolds.
3) Elwood Blues of the Blues Brothers.
4) Marty McFly.
5) Captain James Tiberius Kirk, you bastards.
Dammit. Canadians are actually a lot cooler than I thought.
poutaine is one of canadas better inventions, the English have terrible food reputation, butter on every piece of bread no matter what the sandwich and milk in tea, nooo
americans smell like tabasco sauce and melted cheese ands if you cut them they bleed peanut butter
Hussar: Since this is multinational forum, I would like to start a discussion about national stereotypes.
Consistent with reality or not, lets talk about them.
For example sterotypes about Poles:
1. catholic
2. alcoholic
3. anti-Semite
4. never smile
5. hard worker
Me:
1. protestant
2. abstinent
3. philo-Semite
4. rarely smile
5. lazy bastard
Edit: sorry for my English ;)
Poles are afraid to smile? Now Czech and Russian feel smile too much means you a fool. Poles do however have enormous heads. lol
