Ah, if only these are on GOG...

Is there any DRM on these steam games, beside steam client (as I understand it is necessary to play steam games)?

BTW, mine prices are 4.75€ for both games. It is around 6$.

Do they actually work on Vista? The retail version of KotOR didn't run on my rig ...

yea i ran both kotor 1 and 2, i think kotor 2 was a bit annoying to get it to work,

For Retail just use a crack. The problem is caused by the copy protection,

Thanks to Steam's "Flash sales" or whatever, I managed to buy both KOTOR 1 and 2 for only $4.98, which I think is a tremendously good deal.

The offers only valid for another 9 hours or so, but maybe someone will see this and take advantage!

I didn't even know that 2 was on Steam. Although I have boxed, a loan from a friend that I'll probably never return. I haven't played 1 yet.

Yes. It started off with a 75% discount, and I was going to get it (pending a check on if / what DRM it uses), but wasn't in a hurry because it had a countdown timer saying there was 10 hours left. When I went back, it was off the flash sale and only 50% off.

Why on earth did they do that? Thought i was seeing things myself, as like you i was waiting til i got home to purchase and found it was already gone :/
