Yeah, I know he got disbarred and he doesn't matter a pile of beans anymore and (hopefully) never will again, but it always brings a smile to my face to read how much the gaming community hated his ass. So, consider this the official thread to come and spew your own personal thoughts and hatred for this (former) pain in the ass of gamers everywhere.
EDIT- Just for the record, in case anyone would like to celebrate it each year along with myself, his disbarment date was October 25th, 2008. Consider that forever as the day that we won, evil failed and for once, the goddamn justice system actually worked :) This was our day of victory brothers and sisters and it should be forever treated as the truly bright day that it is.

Every now and then I fart in his general direction to honour his disbarment.

I blow my nose at him, personally, as he is a tiny-brained wiper of other people's bottoms.

Heh - I actually know someone down in Florida who met him during one of his anti-game "events" and asked if he ever played any of these games he was railing against. As soon as he said "No, but..." - the guy says "Well, you're an idiot that criticizes something he knows nothing about, then." and walks away before ol' Jack can get another word in edgewise.
The man is a rusty speck on the rails of history.

Each year on the anniversary of his disbarment, my friends, my girlfriend and I all get together with pizza and other assorted goodies and make a day of playing Mortal Kombat until we're all blue in the face because that was one of his most hated games and as such, it has become one of our most loved :)

o that guy. now i remember him.
Now i want to look up what he has said about games just for a good laugh.
I think a one man party of playing dominions 3 would be a better idea. i agree lets do it.
Did the game 'Im O.K - A Murder Simulator' ever get released? And the cheap bastard showed his true colours and never gave a penny to charity.
I just read a bunch of stuff on the guy and he comes across as more a publicity hound than genuinely concerned about the dreaded evil of gaming. I
Apparently after his disbarment he is not as bad as he used to be (it may not be a significant improvement but it is there, at least for a time).

Well his mother was a hampster and his father smelt of elderberries.
Anyways, my feelings are mixed. He's totally twisted as far as his outlook on games. He's totally irrational as far as his court-room antics prove and the bit with the development con(test) he held. At the same time I pity him since he put himself out of business.
He's still around?
I thought he spontaneously combusted after he was disbarred.
Guess you can't have everything...
Unfortunately he IS still around. He just can't sue every company that he feels are making an "evil/corrupting" product anymore. Mostly cause the judges HATE him. He wasted so much of the court's time that they threatened to slap charges and fines on him if he ever pulled that shite again.
Now he's just content to stand on a chair, shout, and hope someone hears him.
What do you man he's gone? He just moved to south australia and has taken up the post of attorney general
Just because he's still around doesn't mean anyone has to (or wants to) pay attention to him. Even the opponents of violent video games see him as tainted goods now, because he's pissed off just about everyone.
He is almost a textbook case of painting yourself into a corner. That and of narcissistic personality disorder
