prakaa: Just wondering who here has some knowledge of Latin or Ancient Greek...
I had Latin in college.

I don't remember anything, but I always liked this:

Quidquiad latine dictum sit, altum videtur.

wpegg: Did Latin GCSE at school, a fair bit has stuck with me, but GCSE never went to any significant level.
Perhaps then you will remember the shenanigans of Caecilius?

I studied Latin for years but I wouldn't say I ever had any significant knowledge of it. ;)

Latin is awesome.

Ovid is awesome.
Just one year in school. I thought it'd be the worthless class ever, but no, turns out you can tell what a lot of words you've never heard of before mean if you can figure out their latin roots.

Indeed I do, "Caecillius est in horto" was the first phrase I learned.
