When I am checking out and I enter my debit card info I hit process order and it just sits there loading. The games don't show up in my owned games section of my account either. Is there a reason as to why this is happening?

This whole site is very AJAX (Javascript) oriented, do you have an up to date browser? Do you have any extensions (maybe for security) on your Firefox install? That's really what I have. I'd email support if you don't think any of these are the culprit.
Also make sure that if you have any content blockers that they have GOG white-listed.

Same thing happens if you have NoScript installed in Firefox. If you do have it installed or something like it ..disable it, restart your browser and try again. (Disable under Tools, Add-ins, Extensions)

Could be another extension that blocks Java so look for any that do so.
