Excuse me if I haven't looked enough, but I can't find any way to view a user's game catalog like you can do on Steam.

If this isn't possible then I'd like to make a request for this feature.

I know it'll be tricky to log your total playtime for each of these DOS games or upload screenshots from them, but it'd be great to be able to show all your GOG purchases in a publicly-viewable list along with your personal ratings, recommendations and even reviews for each!

Since it's DRM free there's no links at all to the account, which means logging game time is pretty unrealistic and there'll be a lot of opposition unless it's made optional, and probably even then for even spending time on it.

Making collections public (optionally) would be nice though.
Read this for a solution to share your shelf. Hope it helps.

GOG doesn't have any way of tracking time, and I have a feeling that they aren't planning to make one in the near future. Sorry, but until someone makes a 3rd-party tracking system you're out of luck.

X-Fire does support several GOG games out of the box, and others can be fixed (where non-GOG versions are supported), games not supported by X-Fire at all can't be tracked properly though (although they can be assigned to another game's ID and tracked that way, but as far as X-Fire's concerned - meaning the website and your friends - it'll look as if you're playing whatever game you replaced).

Cool - I didn't know about XFire. Thanks.

This thread and its mentioned file are horribly out of date, but I'm sure you've got enough knowledge to use them as a starting point to improve X-Fire's GOG support if you want to continue the work I did. Else, contact me and I'll help with what I remember.
If you want to publicly rate and review your collection, you could also create a GOG mix. Depending on the size of your collection it might be a little work, but it's certainly possible to share your views on the titles you've bought.

Because it is GOG, not Steam. We do not need such useless options. :)

You call it useless.

I call it a good way for people to see what you own in case they want to send you a gift.

Showing your wishlist is quite different than showing your shelf.
Showing shelf is nothing more like "I want random game" message.
Random selection of gift is bad one.

So you've never seen the GOGWiki then? Because we can display our wishlist there too. Just like on Steam.

And I wasn't talking about wiki? OP was asking about "showcase" - and my useless word was referring to that.
