Is the Graphic mode setup changed in the last releases?
Do you intend to change it also for the other games?
If so probably it's a nonsense to keep a backup copy of them in my drive!

Since the graphics mode / setup differs from game to game I'm not sure I fully understand your questions. Could you post more info regarding the changes you are asking about. . . =)

I think the OP means the new graphic mode setup for Dosbox based games that Gog started using recently. It allows one to not only pick the graphical rendering mode dosbox uses but also the windowed and fullscreen resolutions and a few other things.

@OP: It will probably be put in newer Dosbox/Dos games and eventually be put into the older dosbox games sold on the site as well. It's only a dos setup thing though so don't expect it on Windows based games.

Of course, I mean that there is a new menu with filters and more options.
Sorry for my poor English :)

Not a problem.
If you are keen on filters and other settings, I highly recommend you learn how to use D-Fend reloaded, which is a fantastic DOSBox frontend.

I have all my GOG retro games in a single retro gaming folder and use machine specific profiles (e.g. 386 with Sound Blaster, 486 with General Midi...)

The other option is, you learn the DOSBox config file, and simply edit these files individually.

This. It's not too hard, the configuration file is nicely annotated.
Thanks at all friends
I know that it's possible to edit manually the configuration but
I want to know if the installer will be updated (all of them) with the last graphic mode setup
If so, I'll delete the backup files in my hdd

I dunno. You'd have to check with Gog.

If history is any indication, eventually they will be updated, but GOG probably won't notify us when that happens. They've only really announced updated packages when whatever they changed is a major bug fix for the game.

I think you can use the new tool with the old releases if you just copy it to them
I will try but I would like to know it the installer will be updated :D
This solution does not work :(

Did you add the GOG game identifier as a command line argument?

For the old Graphics Mode Setup to edit the Dream Pinball config, the shortcut needs to point at (obviously you need to substitute for your game and installation folder):
"C:\Games\GOG.com\Pinball Gold Pack\Graphic mode setup.exe" GOGTHEDREAM1TABLES

I suspect the new one might need that identifier at the end as well.

I don't know if it's only my problem but I can't save the setup by the graphic mode setup.exe. An error message appear: Game not installed.
EDIT OK I must use the link and not the executable directly :)
