I just wanted to mention the thing I hadn't mentionned, and the reason I wanted Rod to post before lynch.

During night 3, I have found a strong scent of aniseed at Darko's place. I cannot make sense of it. It was not there during night 2. I had even asked Joe to double check this. He confirmed it.

And the only aniseed-related clue we have is that Caroline Bianchi "has a taste for" it.

I was supposing that maybe Darko has aniseed as an item, as he's friends with Bianchi, but the only reason I see why I wouldn't have detected it on night 2 is a bit far fetched : it would be because Darko's action didn't count as an action as it was basically the same thing as NMillar was doing (a self-jail of sorts), so it didn't really act as a protection, because it didn't prevent it, because it happened the same way. Whereas in night 3, Darko's action actually had an effect on other players' actions, and thus was triggered, and thus was active, and thus left a trace.

This only makes half-sense, but I'm a bit at a loss there. Anyway, if it's Darko's item, Darko probably lied when claiming not to have any steal-able element in his flavor.

But I don't really see where else it could come from. Maybe from Rod, but there's little chances of it (I would have liked his claim though), as he says he's got no relation with Bianchi... And I would still wonder why there's no traces of aniseed in night 2.

If Rod is town, he's harmed the game by leaving without a word. If he's mafia, he's helped his team by preventing clarification, but he "cheated" with his absence.

Anyway, in case I die during the night, I wanted this information out.

Yeah well I'll mercifully spare you all my feverish theories (about split personalities and whatnot).

BUT I want at least to stress out the elegance of my info's encryption, in that post. With the first letter of each sentence in the 1st paragraph, and the last letter of each sentence in the 2nd paragraph.

Useless since Rod didn't come back. :-(

And what was the purpose of that?

I was hoping for Rod to come back and claim, and I didn't want him or anyone to claim that I was adapting my untold result to the content. In case he had claimed it and gone "how come you didn't know it", for instance. Or half claimed it. Or accused me of making things up after a different claim (as having one unclaimed item left does hint more at possible lies). It was actually a hindsight, as I did it when regretting not to have done it before the whole discussion, and before Red's and Jmich's claims for instance. But I thought that encrypting it before Rod was still better than nothing.

I still think that mafia targetting darko is unlikely (given his claimed untargetability), and so, if Rod flips mafia, I'd suppose that the aniseed isn't his. If he had claimed aniseed, it would have been close to a clearing, in my eyes. And I don't think that a townie would have lied about the item, and I don't think that a townie would have ignored being related to aniseed. So, I would link it to darko himself (or would have to find an explanation why mafia would have targetted darko).

And I'm trying to juggle with these two unattributed elements, two lacks of claim (darko, rod), three possible lies (darko, jmich, red). Possibilities are narrowed by the identification of one more unclaimed element (the aniseed) even though it raises very confusing questions (Bianchi).

Anyway, these points will probably better be debated tomorrow, with whatever supplementary info is brought by whoever survives the night.

I definitely don't have aniseed as an item and your explanation that would tie me to it (why you detected it on night 3 and not night 2) is pretty weak anyway.
It's pretty obvious that we have a secret character (Bianchi, probably played by Joe) operating. The original post doesn't make any sense otherwise.

So yes, at THAT point we realised that we had reached a really final decision, and well the look Mrs Eggars gave us - she can be quite frightful when she wants to be, it was terribly unfair, we were only playing by the rules.

Well we tried to get her into a pair of skis, but she wasn't really having any of it so we sort of made to jolly her along and eventually we got her out of the door, and she gathered up all her skirts into one hand, made some remark about how we all deserved to die of exposure and then she just whizzed off down the mountainside! It was singularly remarkable.

But don't you see officer!! She's still out there!!! You must find her as quickly as possible!! She's a dangerous murderer!!

Well we all went to bed officer. What else really could we do?
