first off, do you have to be in admin mode to download games using the GOG downloader?

Second, it just stays paused for some reason. I can click on pause and then click resume, but nothing happens.

any idea why?

okay, now that i closed it and used the download button on the site it says downloading, but the thing at the bottom says 0mb/s and it doesn't seem to actually be downloading.

You don't need to run it as admin to download, at least.

I once had that "stays paused" problem. I added the game to the downloader again and it continued.

still says 0 kb/s at the bottom.

I have the same problem. Had it for ages (back when the first downloader beta versions came out and it still doesn't work with the latest version). I try to re-downloading different games with the downloader from time to time, but it never finishes, so I just download everything with the browser.

and it still says nothing has actually been downloaded even thought it's supposedly downloading.

i hit pause and restart and it started somehow. they need to refine this thing, y'know?
and now it's back to 0 kb/s

i keep having to pause and start it. it will stay at 0 then shoot up (sometimes almost to 200!) and then go back down.

Is it possible that your ISP is throttling your download in some way?

don't know. seems like they've been throttling everything today if that's what it is.

My solution:

1 Pause All downloads
2 Exit aplication (Don't logout)
3 Restart aplication

And sometimes I need click Resume all button.
