I got the GOG downloader and didn't pay attention to where it was saving the files, then left it overnight to download the witcher 2. In the morning, it was about 85% complete, but there was a part of the progress bar at the end which was red and the download had stopped due to lack of hard drive space.

I read another thread on here where the poster was able to change the download directory, close gog, move the files, open gog again and it recognised and resumed the download (although he was apparently in the "combining files" phase rather than downloading phase). I tried this and the downloader wants to start from 0% again, even though it's generating files in the exact directory where I've moved all the .chunkX files to.

If there's a way to get the downloader to resume again I would like to know.

maybe let it start dowloading again, leave it for a few minutes then close it, delete the files and replace them with the 85% ones

Ok, that didn't work but it probably *would* if the GOG downloader were to actually update the location of the download for the witcher. I just noticed that it is not using the new download directory that I've set in the options, and is instead using the old directory in documents/gog downloads. :(

I see no reference to the old download location in the options screen or in the AppData/GOGDownloader/ directory or the windows registry.
