Hey, cool giveaway. I've wanted to try this game for a while! I also think my girlfriend will like it a lot.
Movies:
Scrooged - this movie is great: funny, meaningful, bill murray Also, Christmas Story is great! Check them out if you can. The Ref is a pretty good holiday movie too. I know there are others, but those are a few of my tops.
There's a lot of good just simply winter-themed movies, so I won't go into them.
Games:
I wouldn't have thought of the Jazz Jackrabbit holiday levels if you wouldn't have said it probably, been a WHILE!
There's this a game/tradition called of finding a pickle ornament in the christmas tree that I played growing up with my family. There are all sorts of different looking pickle ornaments you can find, some blend into the tree quite well and are hard to locate. The game is that everyone buys a gift and puts it into a pool to be chosen from, someone starts the game by hiding the pickle in the tree while the others look go away, then they come back and whoever finds the pickle first gets to pick a present, then for the next round they are the one who hides the pickle ornament in the tree, everyone else looks for it again, rinse repeat until all the gifts are gone. Sometimes no one gets a gift/someone gets a handful, depending how many people play! Playing with 2 can be fun too, you just do it for each other during the holiday season in some way that suits you, there are no strict rules! Have 1 person hide it in a hard hard spot and give the other person all the time in the world to find it and then reverse, whatever.
