I love the quirky point-and-click games like Machinarium.
Amanita makes wonderfully quirky point-and-click puzzle adventures, and some of them are FREE to play on their site! Games such as Samorost 1, Rocketman, Questionaut, The Quest for the Rest, and Osada can all be played online! They have flash-demos of their other games, too -- Samorost 2, Machinarium, and Botanicula (these last two are available here at GOG!)
Some more games of this type:
The Tiny Bang Story (VOTE to get it here)
Lilly Looking Through (already here)
And then there's Morphopolis (VOTE to get it here):
Morphopolis is a visually stunning point and click adventure inspired by Machinarium and The Tiny Bang Story.
Morphopolis takes the player on a lucid and fantastical journey of transformation and discovery through a beautiful and unique natural environment.
You will take the role of an aphid grub as you embark on a narrative driven adventure to rescue your companion. Undergoing metamorphosis and parasitically inhabiting ever larger insects your interaction with the scenery develops as each chapter progresses and the scale of the world increases.
Are there any other games like this that I should add to the list?
