I bought an M-65 field jacket today, and I'd like some feedback on it. How does it look?

Not bad. When it gets cold get yourself the lining and you're good to go.

Shop I went to though in the lining free of charge, which was awesome.

I wouldn't wear it with the clothes you have under it in that picture. In general though I think it looks good. Wear it with jeans and fall colors.

Not sure if its the light, but those trousers look awfully blue. Unless you are going for a rainbow look, it would be no for a green jacket. Try with darker trousers

Not my thing but it looks good. But for the love of god: don't wear the pants with it! To be honest i am not sure you should wear the pants at all, but it could be the lighting.

Never heard of them till your post. Do your buttons up boy! In my day, when I were just a snip of a lad, we pressed our clothes. Kids today, eh?

I'm afraid I'll have to reiterate what some others have said - not with those pants. At least not so blue. Faded, ok.

Personally I like the shirt and tie underneath.

Oh, and don't wear flip-flops. :-)

When he says "issued" he may mean he received them via army service.
