Startopia has caught both my eyes, and I would play for sure! Thank you!
Thanks for the giveaway, Billy! I'm conflicted about Squeenix, since they gobbled up the IPs of loads of games I was fond of, but they didn't seem to be too bad with DX:HR, which was made under them (not by them, of course).
I'd like to be in for Thief 2!

As for a story about my Squeenix experience, I can talk about Hitman 2 (wasn't published by them when it was released, though). Hitman 2 is awesome. You should go and buy it now. It is here on gog! Enter this compo for it if you don't have it :P.

I remember one level in the game you had to kill someone at a sushi restaurant where they had ordered fugu/puffer fish. This being a Hitman game, you could go about this a million different ways: guns a blazing, shoot everyone in sight, silently kill the entire place one by one, sneak about until you reached the guy, kill him, replace the puffer fish with unprepared puffer fish that is poisonous, kill the cook and impersonate him to get to the guy and shoot him, kill the cook and serve the guy unprepared puffer fish, etc. etc. What I ended up doing was completely unintentional and hilarious. I came in contact with absolutely no one in the level. I was trying to go the replacing puffer-fish route, but missed my chance. I had mucked some things about in the kitchen when the chef came back to finish preparation on the puffer fish, so I bolted and hid. Apparently my messing things about distracted him enough that he forgot the final steps, took the fish to the boss guy, who ate it, and died :D!

I got twin silenced ballers as a reward (no kills, nobody spotted me) for that.

I'm in for Pandemonium 2. I have played part 1 when I was very young, I don't remember anything particular about the game, what probably is very good thing. I would like it I am sure.
Count me in for Tomb Raider 1+2+3, and thanks for tthe giveaway!
Thanks for your generosity again, BillyMaysFan59!

I'd like to be in for Thief Gold please.

First-person stealth in a medieval setting has a lot of appeal — I really am interested in finding out how it feels to explore the "old ruins, haunted cathedrals" in this classic. Thief has been lingering in my wishlist for a while.

EDIT: Almost forgot >

1998, Square's [ parasite eve ], I loved that 2-CD survival horror RPG gem. Sported a turn-based and action-oriented fighting system blend (real-time plus "Active Time Bar" mechanic), which I still think is genius and would love to see used in more games. Weapons customization was another thing done right in PE. Good story, albeit a bit short (could have played this for a lot longer than it was designed for — dug it that much).

Thanks for your generosity...
I'm in for Deus Ex 2: Invisible War because I want to see if it's really as bad as people say.

As for my Square Enix experience... the last game I've played was the new Tomb Raider, and to my surprise I've actually enjoyed it most of the time (some QTEs were really annoying... or too many of them).

BillyMaysFan59: I must admit they're a welcome addition to Thief, however my favorite part of the game is when I'm sneaking inside someone's castle and grabbing a bunch of loot. And at some times, I'll load a save and challenge a guard to a sword fight, just for fun :D
Sometimes I liked to let a bunch of guards run after me and then shoot special items between them.. TRIPLE SLEEP! XD Ah, did you play Blooper Reel map? lol

Treasure: It wasn't- it was published by Eidos, but squeenix bought eidos and now own the thief ip.(see here )
Ah I see, Eidos. I don't like all these passages, but anyway, the developer is the only one that I'd prefer to remember (Looking Glass in this case).
Please count me in for Anachronox!

Hmm, the only squeenix published game I played recently was Sleeping Dogs, which was notable for its liberal use of cantonese swear words, and the catchphrase "a man who never eats pork bun is never a whole man" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYzwqL5sm5g
Thanks for the giveaway!

I am in for Gangsters: Organized Crime

I played a demo of this game a lot when I was young. I didn't know how to play this, but I was playing it just because it was about mafia :)

Thanks for the giveaway. I'll enter for Tomb Raider 1-3, to give the series a shot before starting the reboot.

I'm a long term Square fan. Favorite series from them is SaGa because of the experimental story and gameplay structure.
I'm in for Omikron the Nomad Soul. I played and greatly enjoyed the Tomb Raider reboot.

I´m in for "Omikron: The Nomad Soul".
Back in its day, I played Tomb Raider and I had a lot of fun with it, but after that one I never played another Tomb Raider game, that was till now, when I played the latest Tomb Raider and I must say it was great. From a technical point of view, the animations are so fluid and smooth, with so many details, it really shows the work into them. Plus some gorgeous landscapes and what I also liked was that you could rely on the bow and be stealthy.
Please count me in for Hitman 2. Thank you for the giveaway. A memory that I have of a Square Enix game is spending WAY too much time on the amusement ride in Final Fantasy VII.

Thanks for your generosity.

I don't think I've really played any Square Enix game, but Tomb Raider was part of a gaming defining experience nonetheless. Having not long owned a computer, loving whatever game I came across, I was given someones ahem game backup CD. Suddenly several "big" games made me discover that I actually had tastes and preferences for games, I just didn't know them before. Tomb Raider - as a totally random example - kept me busy for no longer than an hour; what am I supposed to do here, and how and do I want to and why is this chick not wearing a shirt? I don't like adventure/rpg to this day, not Lara's fault, she just showed me. Later bought the one I kept playing from the lot, so put away the pitchforks ;-)

But management and city building is right up my alley and its reviews here are so enthusiastic, so I'm in for Startopia.
Thank you for this giveaway!
Going for Tomb Raider 1+2+3. Good old times when PS1 was fresh and new!

As fate my first FF was FF Tactics. When I saw a guy playing it in a "gamecenter" I love the game aesthetic, so different of previous FF games. When I had the chance to play it, I truly enjoy the story and game mechanics: all that drama of twisted facts and hidden intentions blow my, on those days, young mind... it remain me all those vicious events that we can found in real history. Also those scattered references to ancient and long forgotten places and structures added an element that I love with profound passion: myths and legends.
Until today its one of my favorite games... still chill me such fantastic tale.

PD: Funny song ;-)
