Taleroth: I stand by Another World and Gabriel Knight.
Another world is way too hardcore for me and gabriel knight ... well pretty much the same thing :D

hedwards: If you liked Jagged Alliance, you might consider Desperadoes. I played a bit into it and found it to be enjoyable.

And yes, I am aware that that one was a freebie.
That's one of the games I was considering earlier, it's sort of like commandos thou, isn't it? While I did get my money's worth, I found commandos ... well ... the game always found a way to piss me off royally

It's a similar type of turn based strategy. Solve the puzzles and position your characters. I didn't play much because I've been busy with school lately, but if you liked JA, I'd expect that you'd like this one as well.

Taleroth: Gabriel Knight and Another World. Or that's what I would get.
This...or any of the Gothic games :>.
I'd personally say MDK is a must, it's definitely one of the greatest third person shooters out there and it's made by the Earthworm Jim guys!
Did you already play Planescape:Torment and Baldur's Gate 2?
No interest in Neverwinter Nights (if you like the engine, you'll get loads of content for your money)?
How about The Last Express and Realms of the Haunting (I didn't play them yet but they seem to rank very highly among GOG users)?

Coupons wont be enough for buying both Baldrus Gate 1 and 2 :/

MaybeTemple of Elemental Evil for RPG (if you liked Icewind Dale) ? Or Bloodrayne for some vampiric shooter/hack&slash/slurp :p

Septerra Core - if you like jRPG

If you liked settlers than you might consider: 'Knights and merchants'
