Let's do the time warp again*!

Welcome to our [url=http://www.gog.com]DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

JustSayin: Maaann...so bitter. I never asked for this.
Also it looks like others will be enjoying the bad voice acting. See you in two hours. We never asked for that.

P1na: I did!

Serioulsy, I think at this point I'm just trolling. But I'm really enjoying it.
Okay, lots of people asked for it. I'm also trolling myself. These people getting angry at a timer not going down so the can complain about waiting for a timer to go down on the next game amuses me.

P1na: I did say that, as of late, I have been told about my awesomeness quite a bit. However, the game had to be in-thread I'm sorry to say.
Well, it was actually inside the thread, but I wiped it from out of my shyness before you could realize.

P1na: Do you need another DX copy? Well, if you want one... go and buy it. NOW. But, if you need one, you have but to ask.
Why the hurry? We still have a thousand hours of it...
But no, I don't want, nor I need it. Thank you...

I find the whole situation really amusing, myself. But I do find myself wanting to mess with the haters just for messing with them, which must be what trolling is about, and I'm not proud of it. I still do it, mind you, but I'm not proud of that.

Apixelypse: You also need to factor in the gifting of spouses, co-workers, distant relatives... can I gift Deus Ex to my local representatives? Maybe the Illuminati will scare the NSA into privacy compliance!
Wouldn't that be something ;-P

Then again, if JC Denton is our last hope...
Under 2 hours???? Quick, another copy!
OMG still over 2 hours left ......... people really want this classic game. That said, there must really be many newcomers to GOG, since this title still sells that well ^^
Deus Ex has had 2 hours to go for quite some time.
Finding myself laughing whenever the remaining time spikes. If some people are annoyed now, just give it a few more hours. That should get hilarious.
Annd below 2 hours now!

Oofles: Annd below 2 hours now!
Ah, fine, I'll let it go below. Deus Ex and the number 2 combined give me cold sweat, anyway.

Is it because of it being priced two dollars? Or because of GOG selling version 2.0.0?

Ask JC Denton to hack it.
Hmmm, so many people still not owning this brilliant game? While clicking around in my account (to kill some waiting time...) I discovered that I still own a gift code for The Witcher. So it might be true that there are even people around here not owning that brilliant game, too? Feel free to grab it :-)
