I haven't had the chance to play it all the way through yet so haven't seen any sex scenes yet. I am playing it on the PS3 and it isn't a bad game and actually at the beginning it keeps your attention really well. Once you get to that blasted desert though you start to feel as if it is a grind fest with all the winding passages and seemingly impossible shard locations.

At the 18hr mark I would give it a 4.5 out of 5. At the 24 hour mark a solid 4. That might go back up after I am done with the desert, won't know till I get past it. I have so SO many shards yet to collect to open all the doors.
I'm quite a ways into the main story line, and so far, the game is less bad than I thought it might be. I'm quite enjoying the characters and story missions, and I don't find the controls all that terrible, to be honest. Except for looting. Looting things is tedious, to say the least. However, there are also many bad things, such as the MMO-like quests mentioned before. I just find myself skipping most of them. And the open-worldness of this game freaks me out. I know many people like games like that, and while I do enjoy playing Skyrim every once in a while, I always feel overwhelmed. I kind of liked the linearity of previous Bioware games, and I wish they'd have kept that. I think the plot would have been improved by that as well.

joriandrake: It isn't "full nudity" if gender parts aren't existent. Kinda like a skin overall, still better than crude underwear.
You can see nipples on a woman's breast.

Well the only game that succeed is Rockstar games.

GTA 4 and its full frontal male nudity with flaccid male genetilia.

Red Dead Demeption had 1 quick moment of seeing a woman's bush.

Even the old Albion RPG has nipples, and I still don't consider that "full nudity", you can see such in commercials daily for bras, breastfeeding, etc

Elmofongo: How would you make sex scenes not embarrising?
Not have them.

Seriously, polygon puppets doing it always looks silly. Also it seems forced, since pretty much any movie or show with the same style would fade to black. This isn't Game of Thrones in subject matter, nowhere close.
Aaaaaand it seems the new patch broke the texture quality on PC, as well as deleting most of the complexions/scars. Well played, Bioware, well played. Why do I keep buying their games? I'm such a sucker for punishment.

Relax, you can just choose not to downloa- oh.

Bugs and horrifying PC interface not withstanding, I'm leaning towards calling Dragon Age Inquisition the best game in the series. Now that we've gotten past the whole 'this isn't a sequel to Origins!' fiasco that was DA2, we can judge Inquisition on what it is instead of what it should be. And what it is, is an explorative open-world collectable game.

I think the game is quite decent, but no more than that. In my view origins is still by far the best game in the series.

And yes,the obligatory patch downloading is stupid.

What do you mean by the patch breaking the texture quality on the PC? Does everything look worse? Or is it more or less still the same?

Well, no matter what settings you select in the menu, the game will force everything to low quality. Hilariously, this patch was supposed to fix the shiny hair issue on low settings. Now everyone has shiny hair, as well as a bunch of additional problems.

Some developer posted a temporary fix on twitter, I saw it on the Codex thread. Too lazy to go find it again for you, but you can look for it.

StingingVelvet: Finished the game. My thoughts haven't really changed. Terrible side quests and filler content, empty areas filled with MMO design. Main quests are decent, story is okay but not great, villain is terrible, sex scenes are embarrassing, combat is more action focused but okay.

Meh.
How long did it take for you to finish the main campaign?

Niggles: How long did it take for you to finish the main campaign?
Origin says 62 hours.

I did everything early on but after a couple zones I started skipping all the collecting bullshit. There's probably an easy 100 hours in the game if you care about finding all the paintings or whatever.
