Me too.
I'm KeenanW.
15th

I'm 'Desura friends' with a couple of members from here anyway.
Is Desura smart enough to install mods to games it didn't install? Say for example I have Oblivion installed in Steam. Would Desura be able to install and remove mods from a Steam-based Oblivion or Skyrim install, etc.?

I've never bothered to try Desura or make an account there but maybe I should if it would support stuff I already have.

This song is better when you listen to it through headphones in a dark room. I know from experience.

Anyway, 17th here.
Oh, and...

Yes, Desura can detect games on Steam and still install mods for them (I'm not sure if it specifically works for Oblivion or Skyrim yet, though). It can also create shortcuts to certain games that are not available on the service (Half-Life 1&2, Deus Ex, etc) so they can be launched through Desura.

Well, most of really god games there are on Steam (and therefor listed as Steam sale), and the rest is either not well known (and/or not very good), or have already been in ton of bundles. I may be mistaken though, so please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

There's a lot thats unknown especially those in Alpha etc....i get the impression quite a few games go through desura before they go to Steam (well until the Greenlight crap started on Steam)

I'd really like to see some statistics for games sold there. My knowledge on indie games is flaky at best, so I'm probably missing alot of what's going on there. But still, to my knowledge it's not too popular with trading and it gets left out of most comparisons.
Oh, and feel free to point me towards some great games there. :) (I know this may sound like sarcasm, but trust me it isn't. I'm just too tired to look for proper wording).
