I am playing with a controller as I just can't do Souls games with KB+M for some reason and the only time I had camera issues was in a boss fight where you really need to snap the camera around quickly.

I am still miffed with the changes to the invasion system as I really wanted a full red eye orb to spam and invade but I am limited to cracked red eye orbs since there is not permanent invasion item like in the last game :/

Potzato: On Steam ? with your acquaintance .... Traivor ? :p
If there were to be a truly DRM Free version, I'd definitely be playing that, believe me :)

Snickersnack: I'm really enjoying it and haven't noticed an input lag but I'm playing with a dual shock 2 gamepad*. The combat is very similar to Dark Souls but feels different enough that I had to do a lot of adjusting to get the new timing right and know the animation cool downs. There was much death in the process. XD

On medium settings the game performs better for me than Dark Souls 1 and looks at least as good. I never felt the need to use the dsfix mod in the first game however.

Unlike DS1, there are so many people playing right now that you'll constantly be seeing ghosts and pools of blood litter the landscape. :D

* Buttons prompts in the tutorial must have been useless for me with my Sony style gamepad button labeling but I didn't notice. The tutorial doesn't really tell you anything you don't already know if you've played DS1.

JohnnyDollar: Thanks for the input. You don't have those ghosts in single player, do you?
If you are offline, you won't see the ghosts.

Nirth: How does invasion works? I don't own either games actually but I was merely curious as the jump-in-and-out multiplayer sounds quite interesting but I would likely lose interest fast in case someone joined then destroyed whatever progress I had tried to acquire for several hours.
Well, in Dark Souls 2 invasions are rarer because there isn't a permanent invasion item like in Dark Souls 1 and those invasion items are somewhat difficult to come by. Not only that but you can stay hollow and it lowers your chances of being invaded although it doesn't mitigate them entirely. I personally have yet to see an invasion whether Hollow or human so YMMV.

djranis: i thought this was going to be a pc game not a shitty port like the last one

Luisfius: It is a PC game.
And it is so much better on pc than it is on the consoles.
Ran perfect for me day 1 :)

As soon as I started the game up, I could tell it was done as a PC game this time.

F4LL0UT: Of course it did. You played it with a controller. *żółwik*
Well, it's more comfortable with a controller :)
