I recently downloaded and installed Miasmata and can't get it to run. It keeps repeating the first two or three startup windows but the game itself never begins?

I am running:
Windows 7 Ultimate
16 Gbytes ram
AMD 8 core CPU
Sata HDD drives
MSI R6870 Graphics

I could certainly use some help with this

For most games there's a couple of basic steps that you can take to troubleshoot a game.
1) Run in Compatibility Mode. This makes less sense for a newer game like Miasmata.
2) Run in Administrative Mode. Both of these are usually enough to take care of any start-up issues.
3) Re-instillation through the GOG Downloader, disregard if this was the method used.

I cant really help but I would suggest you launch a support ticket as-well as having this topic, The GoG office is not fully staffed at the weekend so getting a ticket launched now might get you a reply before the weekend. Be aware though that with the sale going on it would come as no shock to me if the staff have a backlog. rest assured if you launch a ticket the staff will respond as soon as they are able,
