I would like to preorder TW2 from gog.com (I actually have it preordered from another DD store but I'm in the process of canceling that preorder),

I see that if you choose to pay using PayPal the American Express option is available in my country, but since I have never used PayPal I have my doubts since GoG itself doesn't support payments with AA credit cards directly.

So, Can someone please confirm that you can use an AE CC to purchase games from here through PayPal?

Dunno for certain but id just try to add it to paypal and pay for it, worst case scenario its rejected by paypal.

Through Paypal you can use anything that Paypal accepts, GOG only sees Paypal and has no idea what happens on the other side of it.

Will I end up paying more than the $45 price tag?
Are there any extra charges if I use PayPal?

No, the only reason you may pay more is if your outside the US and the exchange rate screws you over.

Or if a US-based bank screws you over for doing an international transaction, though I don't know if that happens with paypal.

Not with paypal it doesnt (to my knowledge) as paypal act as a third party, you just get screwed on unfavourable exchange rates.

Just pre-ordered TW2 using my AE cc through PayPal but my question now is: How do I claim my free game?
