And Black is an AWESOME game if you haven't played it already. (For PS2 and Xbox.) So the spiritual successor is going to be Bodycount, which was apparently revealed by OXM. I am so thrilled.

Looking forward to some destruction with this game, along with their F1 game. The rest of them is crap.
I wish they had ported the first game for PC, too. :/

Black was absolute gun porn, that game was one of the best looking ones on the PS2, many hours were spent on it.
My only beef with it was the completely retarded cutscenes.

To be honest, I never really got it. Yes it was, as Menelkir says, gun porn, but I just never saw anything in it that set it apart from any other fps. Don't get me wrong, I like first person shooters, although perhaps I have been spoiled by games that are more than that (I'm looking at you S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Operation Flashpoint, No One Lives Forever,.....(several hours later)...ing, ARMA, Clive Barker's Undying, Call Of Duty etc.)
In summary, I think I shall respectfully pass.

I despised Black. Guns were inaccurate to real life weaponry, and the silenced pistol when fired alerted enemies more than a normal non-silenced gun. It wasn't even gun-porn, just a bad attempt at gun porn eg. the gun version of Ron Jeremy trying to crawl on the October Playmate of 1940.
