Hello, as you can see: I have no avatar. This is because I have tried to upload one and it doesn't work. So I have a question:

What are the file specifications needed for the file to be accepted as an avatar?

Thanks to you all.

I think the issue is with the formal of the file. What format are you using?

as far as I remember GOG accepts JPG, BMP and GIF

Don't forget: GOG also has a file size limit, so if the size of the file is too big, it will not be accepted
Sorry, I probably should have included the file specs - the file is a Baldur's Gate portrait - so bmp, 110 x170.

I beleive that it is the size of the image that is the problem (too high) but I was ultimately after the official specifications, but for some reason I cannot find them anywhere...

You probably have to use a square image for your avatar. All avatars here are 49 x 49 pixels, although I think the forum does the shrinking automatically if you upload a larger avatar. Maybe you can use MS Paint to crop your avatar picture to make it the same height and width.
