both a "as in right now" and a "in general, who else plays it?" type of question.

I randomly got the urge to click its icon that had been sitting unused on my desktop for several months, now I am compulsively playing it again.

I see lots of active servers, plenty of them full; not many ranked / stat tracked servers up, which is sad, but the game is active.

I play it every now and again, but only ever on a LAN since I don't play online. Personally I prefer the quake wars tactical assault mod to vanilla, the damage rebalancing seems a bit more battlefield 2 like.
