I am a GOGer, I comes from China Mainland.

Because of DRM-FREE Torchlight and Heroes of Might and Magic 3, I got to know GOG and its DRM-FREE polices, and bought some DRM-FREE games on it. Such as ys_origin、ys_i_ii_chronicles、The legend of heroes trails in the sky and so on.

last year. Steam has supported Chinese-Yuan purchase, In China-Mainland, almost every games you can purchase is cheaper than in US dollar region. Now, more Chinese people are willing to buy games on Steam.

Will GOG Support Simplified-Chinese and Chinese-Yuan purchase?

there are many Chinese people want GOG to support Alipay.

Everyone wants cheaper prices, no one wants to pay more. Trouble is, for everyone who get cheaper-than-baseline prices, someone's going to get a higher price to make up for the lost revenue.

China is the Biggest Emerging Game Markets.
Many Chinese gamers are willing to buy game on Steam.
Because Steam support Chinese-Yuan purchase and has more cheaper prices.
So why can't GOG do it?

I don't believe that it's fair for you to expect GOG members from most of the rest of the world to subsidize the purchases of those who would purchase in PRC Yuan which is most likely what would happen it something like this would come to pass.

I don't believe that it's fair for you to expect GOG members from most of the rest of the world to subsidize the purchases of those who would purchase in PRC Yuan which is most likely what would happen if something like this would come to pass.

Here we go again, most other members of GOG would most likely be charged higher prices to make up for the difference in revenue brought about by allowing payments in PRC Yuan.

They would probably consider this someday, but maybe not very soon. They've been focusing on Europe and North America (and Australia/New Zealand) so far, and they still only support 4 languages and 5 currencies...and it's been around a year since they rolled out support for their newest language (Russian). There's been some indication that Portuguese will be one of the next languages they will support, and I think Spanish would probably be a priority, as well. Both of these are European languages that would also open up the South and Central American market to them. Not as large a market as China, but then, GOG is not a very big company (yet).

It's a sad news...
DRM-FREE is so attractive and I prefer GOG than Steam.
I'm willing to pay more money to support GOG rather than Steam.
And I have no paypal.
Every times I have to seek some shopping-agents to buy game then they send to me.
