Why not port the Witcher 3 to Linux?
For the game's Next-Gen patch, CD Projekt Red have apparently updated the game with a new quest. I don't know if that is really the case, for I have not been able to get the game running on Ubuntu since the update dropped.
Come to think of it, adding another quest to the game is not THAT simple. For one, they need to make sure that the new quest does not break the game. Two, they would have probably needed to re-hire the original voice actors... for all the dozen or so languages that they did a dubbed version of back in 2015. That could potentially be a LOT of money.
So, I am thinking, like, why not port the game to Linux? It seems like they don't mind throwing a lot of money on a 7 year old game. Why not port it to the greatest family of operating systems?
Like, I am sure that a team of 20 guys with $50.000 at their disposal could easily port the game over to Linux. But instead, they spend that money on a silly sidequest?
I do not get it.
