Hmm, good and bad. Quite surprised that having an actual 3rd dimension is such an innovation, but in truth for this sort of game it really is. And they seem to know what they're doing in general. But the focus on recreating a tabletop experience and all that random chance and the dice making for such a wide range of roll results, meh. And the campaign only taking chars to level 10? A low level romp? That's no fun...

I'm not very familiar with D&D rules sets, but I have been playing some TDE Blackguards and Realms of Arkania games so seemed right up my alley.

Not so long ago I vowed to never play a grid of hex game, now I'm attracted to them. Maybe I'm just getting old?
