I still wish we could see more Besthesda games or possibly some Microsoft games...
Oh please oh please oh please!

Did we have a sale this year? I can't remember.
I think GoG is just getting us back for all these threads...
Today they took a game away instead.

Not that I recall.

Marioface5: I hope GOG has something amazing planned for the near future, because so far this year has been abysmal for releases compared to 2015. Last year they had so much momentum, so many big releases and new big publishers, and right now there's just nothing. At the end of November, Judas teased an upcoming "flood of games". It still hasn't happened yet, and at this point I'm starting to feel like if it ever does happen it won't even be a big deal.

Habanerose: Assuming it even happens anymore...
I just asked, and Judas says they're still working on it.

So at least it's still not cancelled.

I've said this multiple times before, probably even to you, but I just find it strange that GOG still has trouble getting games from big publishers already here. GOG has grown by leaps and bounds since Activision, EA, Square Enix, etc. have joined, so why can't we get more of their games here (assuming no legal or compatibility issues; various DOS titles should still be able to show up, like SimAnt). In every case did the publisher just decide it wasn't worth spending the lawyer money getting more games here? x-P

BUT in trying to be fair to GOG, I'll share some of the (imo) stand-out 2016 releases:

ANNO 1404
DARKEST DUNGEON
NOCTROPOLIS
STARBOUND (despite being in-dev, has quite a few wishlist votes)
PROJECT ZOMBOID (despite being in-dev, has quite a few wishlist votes)
LAYERS OF FEAR (hello Aspyr!)
RISEN 3
ERADICATOR (hopefully more Retroism games come)
UNDERTALE

I was surprised how well STARDEW VALLEY and SUPERHOT have been received and sold, too.

BUT more Bethesda please. :P

IMO the No Mans Sky announcement was a pretty big thing. Sony PS4 exclusive games as day 1 PC releases on gog are something I expect even less than Bethesda day one releases on gog.

But a flood it is not. Not that I assume said flood being anything but some kind of communication misunderstanding by now. Not expecting anything = no disappointment.

Negative side effect: Should said flood of awesome indeed come at some surprise my funds might have been adjusted to what I expect (see above).

Just hoping he doesn't switch to "When it's done", don't feel like waiting a 15 years just to be disappointed, again. :P

Define "abysmal" without using "GOG didn't release the games I want" :P

All right. Let's try reverse psychology.

Never release another game ever again.

I'm with ya. It's been nice getting a few of the Wayforward games (namely Shantae and the Pirate's Curse) and Undertale, but... man has it been rough otherwise. Really scraping the bottom of the barrel for the genres that are already over-represented on here. The lack of progress on any major publishers has been dismaying, too.
