hello to all,
I've looked around a bit but i haven't found information on the following.

1) When was the last time that gog connect offered some games (and which one)?

2) Also is there a place where you can check all the dates and times where there was a gog connect offer (and what games)?

I've seen bits and pieces here and there but not one place or one thread where everything and every time is included.
I would appreciate if someone could help with either of the 2 inquiries.
I don't know the exact date of the last connect-event, however it is dead and won't come back in the future (according to the blues.

GOG should delete/hide the entry. GOG Connect is gone for good now.
There is no more GoG Connect, gog.com stopped doing it now because they achieved what they wanted and a lot of PC video gamers who use Steam when GoG Connect was up would purchase the video games from Steam only to get the video games for free from gog.com.

It happened with Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light.

It happened with the three S.T.A.L.K.E.R. video games.
Befitting the current sale the last Connect event was

For me it was Chasm, last week of December 2019, maybe I don't remember others for games I didn't have on S****.

Those games were never available via GOG Connect that I am aware of. They were however available for a number of years via a section called something like GOG Reclaim ... removed many months ago I seem to recall.

That section had those games and a small handful of others.

When I joined in 2017 I took advantage of that option for two of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, using the code (serial) inside each cardboard box to claim them.

EDIT - Reclaim your games. DRM-Free!

@OP - While GOG Connect is currently dead (or indefinitely on hold), GOG clearly haven't removed the option, so it may come back one day. It occasionally had a few games, not many from what I ever saw, and I used to check it often, and in total there was not many games overall since I've been a GOG customer.

December 2019, as Dogmaus posted, was possibly the last time it was working, as that is close to what my memory says ... certainly no later than mid 2020 anyway.

I don't expect it to be back any time soon (which personally I'm okay with as, given that there hasn't been a recent Connect game, it clearly wasn't paying off). I don't think it's unfair to say it was pretty clearly a marketing tactic to try to get PC gamers who mostly use Steam to kickstart their libraries on GOG and get invested here.

I think Legends of Amberland was the last, Feb 2020.

Nice to see someone come up with the answer to the question at last (*).

*if the https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_whats_up_with_gog_connect_thread was kept up to date. But as Chasm mentioned by @dogmaus being offered in December 2019 isn't mentioned in the thread, the tread is not complete, if dogmaus is correct.

Yet I remember using Connect for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy, that I owned on Steam having previously bought it on GamersGate years before.

I'm guessing that must have been before May 2017 when I joined then ... or somehow I missed their listing. I often checked on a regular basis, especially during sales.

It would be nice to see a full listing of all the games that have ever been available through GOG Connect, and when. I only ever got a small handful myself.

No worries, and alas no captures at the Wayback Machine before 2016.

Yeah there hasn't been a connect for a few years.
I fear it might be dead. Which is a pity, because it was a nice feature. I guess GOG was losing too much money from it.
