pkk234: Staying on topic here, I think it would be a good idea.
But hard to do right. So many games these days have overlapping genres. It would be a choice between seeing less games that you are more likely to not care about and possibly missing out on a great game that gets jumbled into a genre you choose to ignore.

Although to be honest I don't need more games...but that's besides the point.
It's a bad idea. And what happens if your tastes change and all of a sudden you have to figure out which things you're still not interested in?

Steam pretty much had to offer the option because there's a huge catalog and a ton of crapware. But, for the most part, there aren't many games here that aren't worth considering.

ZFR: Staying on topic, this option should have been added ages ago, if only so you can mark games already owned elsewhere.

And it would be in GOG's interest. I'm more likely to buy games if I see 10 games I don't have, than 3 games I don't have and 7 I already own elsewhere.
Maybe, but then it makes it really inconvenient to buy one of those games as a gift or know that it's available here in case that other shop closes.
