Sometimes when playing Skyrim (and just now as I was surfing the net) the screen will momentarily just turn blue and then revert back to normal. Been seeing this for the past week. Wondered if it was a heat problem (using a laptop) so I started making sure I turned it off every time I stopped using it (used to let it stay on and let it go idle) and pointed a fan directly at it, but it's still occurring. Now I'm wondering if it's another "feature" of this stupid Nvidia Optimus technology or something. Or it's just me being stupid somehow again. Odds are the latter of course.

Any ideas or anyone else ever see anything like this (I don't recall ever seeing anything like this and I've been using computers since the 1980's).

EDIT: Nevermind, I ixquicked it and found the answer. So sorry, should've done that first. I've gotten so much good help from all the good folks here that I'm now using it as a crutch instead of trying myself. That's not fair. So sorry to all.

FWIW, it's an issue with my TV (Vizio) and no the computer apparently as this issue showed up multiple times for Vizio TV owners. (Add to it that my particular Vizio was a previously owned and restored one, and I'm guessing there is the likely answer. Glad I purchased the optional four year no questions asked warranty. LOL)

Sometimes I get BSOD whenever i uninstall drivers. Annoying is an understatement, have to restore my computer everytime it does it.

Have you also experienced that? If so, how can i stop it so i can uninstall drivers without having to refresh my whole machine?

I also get flickering screens, although it's rare. It messes up my display, but a restart fixes it.

EDIT: Is skyrim as good as i've heard?
