So i have been reliving my old favourites on GOG over the years... recently i have finished:

- Neverwinter Nights
- Baldurs Gate 1 & 2
- Planescape Torment
- Arcanum
- Temple of Elemental Evil
- Pillars of Eternity + White March 1 & 2
- Dungeon Keeeper
- Morrowind

I have to say Pillars of Eternity was an absolute masterpiece, basically everything i have ever wanted in a game. So now i am at a bit of a loss now that its over.

I am looking for another strong game, doesn't necessarily have to be an RPG - could be an adventure, shoot em up or puzzle game (although RPG's are always preferred).

I only have access to a Macbook air so it would need to be on a mac platform. Graphics aren't that important but nothing too ancient.

Any suggestions?

Divinity Original Sin is supposed to be a good RPG - haven't got round to playing it myself as yet.

Dragon Age - Origins (and possibly Awakening) - buy them on disc from Amazon for around £5. They are pretty good, was meant to be a follow up to the BG/NWN style games in a different universe. I have been through them 3 times, once with a party, and twice solo, good fun!

Ultima - If you have not played any start with 7, the Black Gate.

Then there is the Elder Scolls games. You have played Morrowind, which is the best, but its worth playing Oblivion and Skyrim - make sure you find a big long list of mods to add in - for instance it is impossible for me to play Oblivion without at least Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul.

Then there is Heretic Kingdoms and Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms. And the DnD games, Eye of the Beholder series, Lands Of Lore etc.

I would have a look at moby games for specific genres and look at screenshots and such like as there is so many games out there. Or you could check out the GoG mixes, this one for instance:

Wizardry 8
Morrowind! Enjoy it for me ^_^

Maybe one of the Legend of Grimrock or Gothic series?

Divinity Original Sin or maybe Hello Kitty Online :P
Gothic 1 and 2.

For shooting and RPG-ish, the Stalker games.

I'm just starting Pillars but life got hectic with my son's surgery, so I quit playing for a bit. I should be back to it in a few weeks. But otherwise, we're doing some similar gaming. And my intention after Pillars is to play Divinity OS. So that's my vote.

Hopefully in 4 monthsish I'll have the NWN treasure hunt running. It might take a bit longer than that, though. Anyway, once that's going, get NWN back up and then join in the fun!
dark souls prepare to die not the second game the first is awesome ^^
when you will beat the game you will understand about how dark souls work
it is not only about a hard game :)
so prepare to try :)
Ultima 7 is an awesome game. It's also only $6 USD here on GOG. If you try it, remember to install the exult mod for a better resolution :)

I just wonder how long it took to play all those games?

I certainly do. I work in music and entertainment so its a massive life drain but very worthwhile. Its great to game and focus on something completely different from time to time though :)
