I dunno what it is but I hope someone gets it.....it looks fun as hell.

Second (again pretty big) hint, the game was developed by the same company that developed the number two game on the GOG wanted list.

There are computer games being made in Italy?! ;)

I never noticed it before, but I just realized that among the hundreds of games I have, I can pinpoint some to almost every major European country, west and east. But I don't remember having a single game that was made in Italy. Odd.

(Regarding the screenshot: I keep googling, but nothing came up so far.)

Screamer series is made in Italy, for example. But there are other games like Druuna Morbus Gravis, Tony Tough series, The Watchmaker. All games that I don't like, except for Screamer.
This monstrosity (I hope that someone has wrote about) is "Gioventù Ribelle" (trad Rebel Youth) and was made for the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. Shame.
The game is actually revoked but I think that is still recuperable.
