Snowkatts not the first person to leave because of GOG leaving this place to rot (or the GOG Clique), and won't be the last. Thankfully more and more regulars are calling GOG out on empty words and promises, and the community itself is still solid (won't disagree than it's in a bit of a decline though) and that's enough to keep me here.
We still have good people here. But we are being swamped with "serious" die hards. Its not good and definitely no fun.

Shame they left, but I think it happens to everyone at one stage or another.
I often go through periods of not posting for months, because I either get fed up with things, or just don't have time, etc.

I always enjoyed talking to Snowkatt. Ah well, maybe she'll be back when I return in another few months. ;)

Eh, I think they'll be back, they're probably busy with other things such as moving to a different house, city, etc. or hectic work or something like that. I've personally seen a user not be online for 40+ days and be back again.

Well as I linked previously in this thread Cyraxpt's reason for leaving the forum is GOG's complete indifference towards the abusive trolling and public harassment on the forum. I recently had a conversation with him on chat and he reiterated that he won't be participating in the forum as long as GOG continues to ignore the issues with it.

I certainly couldn't argue with that reasoning since I agree with his assessment though I will continue to stick around as long as the majority of the good folks that I have come to know over the course of almost two years, remain on the forum. But if most of them were to leave because of GOG's negligence towards the forum issues that are causing the degradation of the overall spirit here then I will probably lose interest in the forum as well.
