I remember playing a game as a kid that involved theme park management, a la Sim Theme Park and the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise. The one feature that sticks out to me was the ability to get on the rides after they were completed, to experience what you built in first person. It was very similar to the later Zoo Tycoon title (2 or 3?) where you could walk around the park and take care of the animals in first person mode. Anybody remember this game? TIA!

Edit: Success! It turns out it *was* Sim Theme Park that I was thinking of. Thanks a bunch, it was really bugging me!

Doesn't RCT 3 have a 3rd person 'ride the ride' option?

How old do you think the game was? Were the graphics all 3D or mostly 2D? Yeah, but even the first Theme Park had that option.

It has a first person view, yes.

Had that on Ps1 back in the day

That's correct, but OP mentioned the game merely being similar to "Sim Theme Park", which is the US title of Theme Park World, so I'm not sure if it's really that one.

I've looked at screenshots from RCT3 and none of the architecture looks familiar. I 'm pretty sure it wasn't that game.

I didn't realize that Sim Theme Park had the first person view. I'll go try to find more screenshots to see if it looks familiar. I was just wondering if there was some other theme park management knock off I might have been missing. My mom tended to buy me the cheaper stuff...
