That'd be neat. It'd probably be absolute hell to actually implement though, seeing as every single discount requires an approval from the game's owners.

We'd probably have to start with those, but then once you have approvals for this amazing lineup of best-of-worthy discounts it'd kinda be a shame to just not use them.

tfishell: Don't you guys already have to do this for sales like Insomnia though? Perhaps you could narrow the selection to a few specific big publishers, and then let users vote.
This, as in, getting a crapload of approvals?
Cause that we do, it's no cakewalk but it's certainly doable. The issue I can see arises when we actually do have all these deals – but can't use them due to how the sale is structured. Even with Insomnia, there's a chance not every copy gets sold (unlikely AFAIK), but nothing gets left out of the sale.

I mean, maybe it's worth it - maybe the novelty makes up for the "unused" man-hours. But I'm not one to judge that. I am one to show this thread to our promo guys though.
