idbeholdME: Shadows: Awakening includes what was originally Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms. HK was originally intended to come in 2 parts. Only the first got released due to publisher problems and the devs later released Awakening which includes the full story but also many gameplay changes compared to HK.
thanks I was in the dark about this!
According to the reviews Lords of the Fallen is rather difficult. Does the game have any settings to reduce the difficulty?

IronArcturus: Has anyone tried that Elderborn game? Does it allow the user to save at any time?
You can save on shrines that you find here and there. It's kinda like bonfires work in Dark Souls. You save your progress but it also reanimates all defeated enemies in the area again.
