And Bandcamp, but it should be on here to.

Notable omission: Brütal Legend.
When i read OST i assume the game comes with the soundtrack separately.. which doesnt seem the case as earlier post seems to indicate. Picky but disappointed in GOG this sale. Wonder how many other people will make same assumption? .
Would be helpful if gog actually helped the buyer linking samples of the OST's...
Don't mind my avatar, but Night in the Woods
https://infiniteammo.bandcamp.com/album/night-in-the-woods-vol-1-at-the-end-of-everything

VirtuaVerse
https://masterbootrecord.bandcamp.com/album/virtuaverse-ost

Crypt of the Necrodancer as well, but hey...Super Hexagon! Yes, it's a bunch of obsessive loops, and they're great for that.
Ruiner isn't on the list. Somebody has horrible taste in soundtracks

You know, I guess we've already spent here much more time on that subject than the person who made the sale :) They're just trying not to make another "Some games of various genres" weekly sale, so appreciate it ;)

Yeah, I get that this is the "you just blew all your dosh on the christmas sale" post-sale. I still wish there was more effort put into their selection of games that I am way over budget on.
I'd say VirtuaVerse has one of the best soundtracks ever, although I didn't play the actual game (from some of the reviews I suspect I wouldn't like it and the demo when it became available didn't convince me otherwise). But I did get MBR's full discography on Bandcamp and have really enjoyed all of it. He has some nice covers of old game music as well, available on soundcloud or there is a download link in the community section on Bandcamp if you follow him (this should link directly to the post).

Bandcamp had a best video game music of 2020 page mid-December. The two I liked from there were Ikenfell and the amazing soundrack of the canceled game Atticus VII".

I'm always complaining about game music being too repetitive, so I really like that both the VirtuaVerse and Atticus VII soundtracks are really excellent music not just game-style music.

I also really liked the lullabies in RiME and My Brother Rabbit (the full RiME lullaby is a spoiler so I won't link that one; the full soundtracks of both games are nice too). Also some of the Amanita Design games have really nicely integrated music, particularly Botanicula and Samorost 3. Falcom games almost always have excellent music and Tokyo Xanadu in particular has several tracks I've listened to a bunch of times after playing the game (1 2 3 4).

Another one of the best soundtracks ever is the HeroQuest soundtrack.

Edit: Just found from finding this lovely track that there is a new Calvard arc of the Trails series. Time to start saving in case we get some unexpected new releases for Falcom's 40th anniversary in March (likely not this one yet but still...).

BPM: Beats Per Minute looks really interesting. Anyone here played it? I enjoyed Ziggurat a lot, which seems to be much of the same concept.
I know I've mentioned it a few times on twitter (to no response sadly), but please get Celeste on here..

It's not like it didn't win any awards for best soundtrack or anything..

I welcome any kind of staff reaction, or info / reasoning on why it's just not on here.. It deserves to be on here.

Along with a bajillion other games. Sale names like these are utterly pointless. Especially since the central topic depends on taste in the first place.
