A trip about this for me is that I have a 2600 comp disc and a Sega Genesis comp disc and the older 2600 games are, IMO, WAAAAAAAAAYYYYY better. :P

I'm sorry Sonic, but Pitfall Harry and River Raid have you beat. :P
I actually still have my Atari 2600... :D
Voted.
But no RIVER RAID? WTF Atari...

Well, the collection contains games that are owned by Atari. River Raid is by Activision.

Well they'd better obtain the rights then. This is the Atari 2600 game. :P

Or alternatively, Activision could digitally release their own anthology, full of Atari 2600 games.

That'd work. I really don't care. Either. Both! :D

But wouldn't GOG consider this as "too niche" for them (sarcasm) ?
voted too :)

aluinie: Voted as well but one game seems to be missing battlezone wonder why that is not in it as i thought atari published it.

Grargar: Atari sold the Battlezone IP to Rebellion 3 years ago during their bankruptcy proceedings.
Source.
Ah that explains it thanks just sad it is not here loved that game but maybe through rebellion we might see it some day.
Sure. I used to have the Activision anthology. Although I recall it being years earlier and it had a nagging mother mode.

Maxvorstadt: Hm, doesn`t contain Decathlon or Space Invaders, so not for me. But will vote for it anyways.
Personally I would like to sea the Amiga Gold collections here. And Games from the Schneider/Amstrad CPC. :-)
space invaders belongs to taito ( and taito belongs to square now )
so its not going to be in an atari collection
No E.T., no buy!
