While we certainly live in the age of maximized profit, such that we will get endless sequels to movies like Fast & The Furious, rather than support something new and unique, there are still many doing great movies and games. You just need to be discerning and expand your horizons ... you may also need to take a break and do something completely different for a while.

The Indie scene is where a lot of good stuff is happening. The only issue there of course, is the numbers can overwhelm you, and there are high numbers of low quality less fleshed out games with a budget of a shoestring.

As they say though, life is all about expectations and some have faulty or flawed expectations, far removed from reality.

Try Gravity Rush 1 and 2. "Folklore" and "Rez" to name a few.

I thought this was a necro but no. Well, I guess you see this kind of post about everything. People gets tired of swimming, clubbing, their new at first exciting job, everything. As for me, I'm having the great time of my life with Valfaris right now but I spend days without playing too. It's about finding the right game for you at the right time. If you don't enjoy this hobby anymore, that's cool too.

I am not finding game to play. Sure the games i played this year was amazing:

subnautica sub zero
valheim but i still not finding much other games atm to play..

Maybe attention seeking is their new past time... That, or they're pursuing to be creators of original and enlightening topics ?...
