Titanium: Too dangerous on a QWERTY.

Wishbone: ...
Have you looked at a QWERTY keyboard?
I can manage to type without gazing at it's beauty. Why?

Hehe, I just wondered how you managed to type on one at all if you deem ROFL too dangerous, given the arrangement of the keys used for that particular maneuver ;-)

Oh, quite right. Though you have to take into account that this was a Valve employee, or a contracted person, and could only type with the off hand, since his main one was almost certainly... otherwise occupied.

sunshinecorp: Which is what probably happened at Valve.

Wishbone: Not the first time either. Anybody remember the Steam Linux wipe-all-user-files bug?
Holy crap. And that's yet another reason why I don't like client programs ( not limited to Steam ), or any software executing tasks without my knowledge and/or permission.

Did they compensate for the damage at all? Did they fix the problem... ?

I know that they fixed it, but I don't know anything about any compensation.

"Oh, so you lost several months worth of work files, various important documents and a few TB of downloads?

Ooopsie~ Well, you're using our software at your own risk... Want some discount coupons for TF2 hats?"

Less a question of "how many security holes does this bloated old website have?" and more of "Just how many doors did your janitor leave open?"
