ShadowWulfe: Oooh, it's like a prettier Fantasy Wars.

Also, will we ever get Elven Legacy?
No idea, sorry :(
avatar
IAmSinistar: So, Worlds of Magic. Did you call and let everyone know you would be late?
Well, it called us as in I talked to one of the guys over the phone. Does that count? :)

Let's just say that it's coming but we all want to make sure the GOG launch of the game is the best launch ever :D

IAmSinistar: Not if you don't pass it along to us. ;)
But I just did :P

I ain't going to hand deliver anything buuuut I do know that the awesomeness of 2015 hasn't stopped. It has only just begun! I really think 2015 is going to be our best year ever :D

Grargar: Why you teasing bastard! :D
Dude, if I ever get an email from someone high up saying "tell the community this, that, and the other thing" I'll do it. Until then, ain't no breaking this NDA :P

Matruchus: Starcrawlers a kind of Dungeon crawler sighted in the upcoming tab.
avatar
IAmSinistar: Looks a little like Legend Of Grimrock, but in space. Legend Of Airlock?

If it's even remotely similar, it'll be a purchase for me.
It's actually turn-based as opposed to real-time :)

Unlike Grimrock, StarCrawlers follows a Diablo-like structure where you get quests, shop, and heal in a central hub :)

Also, the quests are randomized along with the mission locations :) And there is a faction system at play as well :)

yogsloth: Turn-based, so not like Grimrock.

There need to be more non-fantasy RPGs, though, so this looks pretty good.
Funny thing is the game DID start out as a real-time dungeon crawler :)

IAmSinistar: That sounds good too. I'm not entirely enamoured of Grimrock's real-time element anyway, especially during the worst combat and trap-avoiding sequences. So turn-based is more than fine too.
There's another feature: mouselook. You can and need to use this to solve puzzles and uncover secrets :)

toxicTom: A little like Wizardry 8?
Yes sir :)
avatar
JudasIscariot: Yes sir :)
avatar
toxicTom: Then it sounds intriguing :-)
It's quite challenging too even on the not-so-difficult missions :)

Siegor: Challenging in the sense you need to think carefully about your build and strategy or just grind mobs until you're the appropriate level??
Think carefully :)

zeffyr: Odallus: The Dark Call showed up. Twice :-)
Yes, and now the game card is live :P

*adds JoyMasher to his collection of Brazilian developers*

IronArcturus: 'Still wondering why Necrodancer isn't here yet...
We're making sure to get really good at the game before we release it :P

How would it look if we were to release a game that we can't play properly? :P

Sarasa: 5LivesStudios have released a Release Teaser for Satellite Reign

With this announce below the clip > launches on Steam, Humble Store and GOG on the 28th of August 2015

Now to wait for a GOGStaff to confirm that release date ;)
Barring any technical issues, yes, the game should be coming out on August 28th here as well :)

We got the assets for the teaser trailer and such a bit late in the evening (for us) on Friday so we'll update everything on Monday :)

zeffyr: Mini Metro announced! :-)
avatar
IAmSinistar: That'll be another instant purchase, unless they do some kind of screwed-up three-tiered release that cheese me off. :)
Three-tiered release? What do you mean by this?
avatar
The-Business: Basic, Premium and Deluxe Edition with exclusive contents.
avatar
IAmSinistar: Bingo. Not that I suspect an indie game like this would come in such forms. :)
We should make it a five-tiered release for you, then, since it would technically no longer be a three-tiered release :P
