Yep, I read a digest version last night. Aside from the rivalry, what baffles me is that a company like Valve is using voluntary workers to translate their stuff instead of hiring them. Talk about exploiting their fanbase..... :(

Sounds like its not only some of the mods on steam letting power and control get to their heads. What a tossbag company.

No, this is not the Steam forum here! Hiring costs money and therefore reduces the income. So, why hire and pay if you can make people work and get the money their work generates for free?

Yep, both sides are partially to blame but I like to go against the biggest one :o)

BTW, it also baffles me that the Twitch GOG is team is doing it for free (aside from game codes and the new tipping system), it should be better if they had part-time contracts (or freelance contract for those who are independant workers). Let's start the GOG revolution! :o) Well, here's your occasion to link it with the job description, maybe someone will bite ;)

Ps. The Finnish translations for Team Fortress 2 items and weapons suck, whoever translated them should be shot... TO THE MOON! Don't look at me though, I will not volunteer to Valve to translate TF2 to Finnish. Heck, I am not even beta testing Galaxy for GoG.

And i play TF2 in English anyway, so...

The faster languages die, the better. Worldwide English use, and let us be rid of these crappy and archaic things.

Well, although I`m able to participate in the conversations in the english forums here, I`m still Bavarian German and I still like to use my own language, with which I grew up.

That post is 44 mins old, so is archaic and we should move on. In fact English itseff is archaic, we should just speak webspeak only from now on, oh no the web is also archaic... arrgh I just can't keep bang up to date all time. +1
