JMich: Yes. Not sure about the RPG part, but it can and will get better.

Elmofongo: I'm still waiting for Ubisoft to release Rainbow Six 3 here :P
I'm still waiting for Ghost Recon's add-ons to be released. :P

Also, I suppose you could include the Kickstarter campaigns for The Bard's Tale 4 and Divinity: Original Sin 2 in your list.
Glad you’re enjoying yourself. It seems like this whole year has been filled with cracking RPGs like Serpent in the Staglands, The Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity, and the Dead State Reanimated update. Who knows what lies in store for the remaining months? I’d perform a blood sacrifice to get Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and Fallout: New Vegas though.

Necross: as to system shock 1 that is in ownership rights hell. The now long dead looking glass software, and ea each owned half the game (one owned the trade mark the other the copyright) and one needs both parts for ANY re-issuance or remake of the original or equal to be made.

Elmofongo: What about the first 5 Wizardry games?
Same deal as system shock only between the series creator and the series rights holder, Sir Tech. Wizardry's creator has some rights to the first five but Sir Tech wanted to cut him out after he left the company so they sued and won the full rights to make and profit from 6-8. Still a lot of bad blood there.

I just waiting till Alpha Protocol gets released on GOG. That really would be most pleasant surprise for me this year.
Yeah it is pretty crazy how many great RPGs have came out, and are on the horizon.
I am waiting for the GOG version of course
NO SHIT!

First time the fuckers almost took out my dad's boat and a week later they scored a direct hit on my car; the fucking thing was disintegrated!

Man, it used to be safe to walk around outside. Not anymore.
Bloodlines is also my #1 desire that I want to come here (of games that are not CERTAINLY coming here, like Full Throttle and DotT and others that are just pending because of the signed publishers; they don't count), followed a bit distantly (but it's still 2nd) by Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.
