Has any one gotten The Witcher: Enhanced Edition to work on a newer mac OS 12? Certain places on Gog says it should work and other don't have mac compatibility information. It won't run at all for me. Downloads but won't start and does not show an error message. Virtual chat assistant is not helpful at all.

The Witcher EE is AFAIK 32-bit only, so it won't work on Catalina or newer system.

The store page only lists Windows compatibility, with the notice: "Mac notice: The game is 32-bit only and will not work on macOS 10.15 and up." You can run the Windows version if you use Wine though. If you're not familiar with Wine, you can use something like Crossover or Porting Kit to make it easier.

(Fun fact: the original release of the Mac version was actually a Wine wrapper. It mostly worked fine, except for a tendency to crash sometimes during indoor/outdoor transitions. They later did a proper port which didn't crash. That was ages ago though, and it seems newer versions of Wine don't have the crash problem.)
