I just got the game. and I finished downloading it. when I tried to launch it. the game icon appears on the dock. but then suddenly closes. I tried to relaunch it but it won't work. Please help!

None of the Witcher games are officially supported for the Mac.
Even though the offline installer for the Mac version is available, it's probably an old version and not updated for newer OS (see attached picture from game's store page).

well thats sad. i guess i will have to tamper with wine until i get it play witcher in there...
