Isn't that how all updates notifications work? Mine do anyway, if I'm online when they appear I get a notification but no update, then after a while the update will be there, and then even after viewing the changelog the update hangs around for a while.

I've just accepted it now...

What can I say? Those updates still haunt me for sure. :P

Not for me. When I get the notification I see the update. Or at least gogrepo.py does. This was an "empty" notification about an update for 30 minutes or so before its waveform collapsed to "Dreamfall Chapters".

Lucky you then.. I always seem to get the blank update first and then an actual updated game... unless I've not been online, then I just come back to a proper notification.

Same here. The "updated" always trails the "notification" by 5-30 minutes.

I'm just going to wait for it to stabilize before I download. My arrivals drive is quite full and my budget won't have room for more DVD+Rs until July.

To be fair, the latest two updates on Linux have been a pair of patches (of 120MB and 4MB in size). Not bad. :)
